Here you can make all settings relating to communication by e-mail and SMS. This includes notifications for your customers, your company and the lead times for reminders.

Here you can make all settings relating to notifications.


1. Notification type for your customers

Here you can choose between e-mail or SMS. However, SMS messages are subject to a charge. To do this, you need an account with one of our supported providers Brevo or SMSAPI. Find out about additional costs with these providers.

3. Appointment and rebooking confirmation

Here you can choose between:

Inform company

Inform booked resource

Inform company and booked resource

Inform store

Inform store and resource

Inform company and store

The notifications are sent to the e-mail addresses stored in the company profile, under the store or under Resource / Employee.

4. Courtesy form for customers

Choose between "formal" or "informal" courtesy form. All Calenso texts will automatically adapt to the selection.

5. Lead time for Group-appointment reminders

Here you can specify how many hours before a group event your customers should receive a reminder.

6. Lead time for Appointment reminders

Here you can specify how many hours before an individual appointment your customers should receive a reminder.

7. Cancellations

Here you can select who should be informed in the event of cancellation.
Here you can choose between:

Inform company

Inform booked resource
Inform company and booked resource
Inform store
Inform store and resource
Inform company and store
Cancellation to specific e-mail address (this selection opens another field for input):

8. Customer can define in the booking widget how he should be notified

 Here your customers can choose between e-mail or SMS (if activated). However, SMS messages are subject to a charge. To provide this, you need an account with one of our supported providers Brevo or SMSAPI. Find out about additional costs with these providers.

9. Customers must verify their mobile phone number via SMS before they can make a booking

In this case, after entering the mobile phone number, a code is sent to the customer by SMS, which must be entered in the booking questions for confirmation. To provide this, you need an account with one of our supported providers Brevo or SMSAPI. Find out about additional costs with these providers.

10. Customize e-mail and SMS notifications

By clicking on the respective template, this can be changed and equipped with numerous placeholders. Use the filter Recipient and type, or use the direct search for a desired term to find the desired notification more easily.

11. Activation and deactivation of notifications

Within the Business-license all notifications can be switched on or off using the switch on the right-hand side.

12. SMS-notifications

First select the desired SMS providerBrevo or SMSAPI.
After you have created your account with one of the two providers, you must generate an API key there in order to be able to send SMS notifications via Calenso. Name this API key exactly the same as your sender name under Calenso (in our example: "CALENSO").
Note that the name is case-sensitive.After you have made the entries, they will be checked by Calenso employees. This can take up to 48 hours. During this time, the fields are blocked for new entries. Therefore, make sure that your entries are correct the first time you enter them!


Once all changes have been made, you must click Save to apply them.
