Data protection for external calendars

Created by Calenso Support, Modified on Mon, 04 Jan 2021 at 11:38 AM by Calenso Support

If you have connected an external calendar or even more than one, don't worry about what we notice of your private (or even business) appointments in it.

We can't see your data.

When synchronising between your calendars and Calenso, the following happens:

  1. A customer selects an employee in the booking widget and goes to the next step "Appointments".
  2. In the background, Calenso checks all the employee's external calendars.
  3. During the check, only the information whether the time slot is "free" or "busy" is transmitted.
  4. The Calenso calendar is then checked.
  5. Free time slots are displayed to your customer when they book.
  6. Your customer's newly booked appointment is entered in your standard calendar.
