Calenso occasionally grants discounts as a promotion or in emails. Here we show you how to apply the discount correctly in order to benefit from the promotion.

Apply discount from a promotion

If Calenso grants a discount to all its customers, e.g. 50% to Blackfriday, the discount will automatically be applied in the system and in your checkout. If the code is not deducted, add the discount code manually in your checkout process.

Add discount manually

To do this, go to "Your subscription" in your settings. Choose an appropriate subscription and go to the second step "Price". Now click on "I want to apply discount code".

A box for the discount code will open.

Now enter the code and press Enter or move your mouse. The discount is now added and looks like this:

Second, the higher discount code received

It can happen that a normal promotion is running, e.g. 20% on flatrate and you as a loyal member get a 25% discount code by mail. As the 20% discount code is valid for all, it is stored in the system. In order to benefit from the 25%, you have to remove the other one first. This is how it works:

Go to "Your subscription" in your settings. Choose an appropriate subscription and go to the second step "Price". Now it will automatically deduct the discount for 20% from your subscription. Click on the red "waste bin" symbol. The discount will be removed.

Click below on "I want to apply discount code". Now you can enter your personally received discount code in this box and the higher discount will be deducted.

ATTENTION: If you return to step 1, the changes will not be saved.
