Enable file upload on booking

Your customers can send a file when they make an appointment. For example, damage photos, signed contracts or other information are required before the appointment. Follow the step by step instructions to set up the file upload. We will also show you where to find the uploaded files and give you general information about upload limits, among other things. Set Up File Upload

Go to the booking questions in your settings. Now add a new booking question by clicking on the "+" symbol. 

Now the dialog box appears to create a new booking question. Give the booking question a title, ask a question and fill in the placeholder. All information about these fields can be found here. For the booking question type, select "File Upload".


Now you are asked which file types you want to allow for the upload. You can allow pictures and/or documents to be uploaded. 


If you want your customers to upload more than one file at a time, check the box "Allow multiple files". If this field is disabled, customers can only upload one document.




In the last step, your customer will now see the following:



As soon as a file is attached, it becomes visible to the customer. This can be deleted by clicking on the red cross.



Retrieve uploaded files

You have two ways to find the uploaded files of your customer: Via the customer file in the customer administration or in the appointment link as to download (instructions for the appointment link can be found under the link).

If you go to the customer administration in your dashboard, you can switch to the customer detail view. Here you will see all completed booking questions on the right side. Here you can also open file uploads or delete them from the customer. You can also add new files. 



If you want to delete several files, check the box on the left side of the file name and then click on "Delete".



General information about file upload

The file upload is safe and does not endanger your system. 

Please note that a maximum of 5 files can be sent per appointment. Furthermore, the maximum file size must not exceed 5MB. The total size of all files is limited to 20MB. Clients will be advised of the limits during the booking process.
