Calenso has its own plugin on WordPress which allows you to easily integrate your booking widget.

This is how it works:

Step 1: Download plugin from the WordPress plugin store

  1. Log in on your WordPress site.
  2. Switch to the "Plugin" page and go to the "Install" page.
  3. Search for "Calenso Booking".  (direct link to the plugin)
  4. Now the Calenso plugin appears. Click on "Install".

Step 2: Activate plugin

  1. Switch to the section "installed plugins".
  2. Search for "Calenso Booking
  3. Click on "Activate network". Then "Deactivate network" appears under the name.

Step 3: Set up the plugin as customer

Now the Calenso plugin appears in the left navigation bar, click on it. Since you already have an account, click on "Let's go! I already have a Calenso account. (Without an account, please register first)

  1. First of all, we will check whether you have a Calenso account. Enter your booking name here. Click on "Check account". This may take a few seconds.
  2. Then select whether you want to set up the widget as an iFrame or web component. At the bottom of the page you can choose whether the widget should be displayed for appointment bookings or group bookings. There are advanced settings for both:
    1. Appointment bookings: If you select a branch and a service, these will be preselected for the customer by default. The customer goes directly to the resource selection. You can also leave the branch or service open. This means that the first step for the selection of a branch and service is still displayed and only one is pre-selected at a time. You can also define the default display language.
    2. Group appointments: The same applies to group appointments. If you preselect a group appointment, customers will go directly to the appointment booking. If this has not been selected, all available group appointments are displayed in an overview.
    3. Then click on "Create Shortcode".

Step 4: Display and integrate shortcodes

All created shortcodes can be found under "Shortcode" on the left side.

You can insert the shortcuts (e.g. [calenso_booking id="1"]) as text on your website. The plugin will automatically display the corresponding widget.
